The rapper, singer, songwriter, and engineer known as TJA out of Flint, MI has quickly found his footing in the local music scene. Navigating away from solely rapping, he was inspired by artists like Drake, Akon, Ne-Yo, Post Malone, and Childish Gambino to push beyond his boundaries and sing while still keeping influences from artists like Eminem, Joyner Lucas, and J.Cole who have shown him how rap can be used in many different ways.
Through dreamy vocals and rap lyrics that can make you feel several different ways, TJA has captivated his listeners through multiple genres, making him impossible to ignore. His bold new imagining of the Alternative Hip-Hop/Pop genre is starting to make waves all across the U.S, Canada, and France. His sound has also allowed him to open for a wide range of artists, including G-Eazy, Tinashe, Ying Yang Twins, Bizzare, and land himself meetings with Norva Denton. TJA has also received radio support from WorldStarHipHop's Top 30, Flint's Club 93.7, Detroit Life, Radio Supa, WhozFire, and Rock The Mic TV.
TJA has now joined forces with Jay Willy bringing the people the Day-N-Night Tour. Performing from December to April.
